His chest is adorned with the symbol of Shrivatsa. He is the lord of the gods and had incarnated on earth thousands of times in the past and shall appear on earth from time to time in future. There is no doubt about it. This is what had been ordaaied by Brahma.

О great king, the divine auspicious story, which has been asked by you, bestows the welfare. The lord of gods, destroyer of enemies — lord Visnu for achieving of success, leaving the heaven was born in the house of Vasudeva. I shall narrate the relevant story to you pretty well. You please listen to the same from me completely. Besides this, you also listen to the story of the birth of lord Krishna together with his glory.

Shrihari — the soul of all the bhutas, for the welfare of the gods as well as the humans, besides for the benefit of the world incranates on earth again and again, according to the need of the times.

I shall describe the auspicious life stories of the incarnation of the lord, as spoken by the Vedic literature.

О Janamejaya, this is the auspicious and the excellent Purana, is adored like the Vedas, you getting purified and keeping silent, listen to the same. I shall delightfully narrate to you the divine story of lord Visnu. You better listen to the same attentively.

О Bharata, whenever the dharma goes on decline, the lord Visnu, incarnates on earth in order to re-establish dharma on the sound basis.

О king he was a sacred and gentle image, which performs severe tapas dwelling in the heaven.

His other images for the destruction and for the creation of the universe, getting overpressed with yoganidra (yogic sleep) rests (in the ocean of milk. This yoganidra is for better than the samadhi (meditation) of the spiritual thinkers.

After enjoying the divine sleep for a thousand caturyugas, the lord, in order to re-activate, the powers of the creation of the universe, several gods appear again, in several forms. After the completion of the thousand yugas, the Jagadlsvara, god of gods, lord Visnu, reappears in the form of Brahma — the grand sire, Indra, lokapdlas, the sun, the moon, fire, Kapila, Parmesthi (Daksa), gods, saptarsis, (seven Rishis) besides immensely glorious lord Siva, having three eyes. Besides the wind, ocean, mountains etc are the parts of his Virat- form, and they function by his grace.

The immensely glorious Sanatkumara, besides, glorious Manu, the creator of the universe, represent his form. Lord Hari, who is respondent like the fire flames, had created the bodies of all the living beings.

At the time of the dissolution, when the gods, demons, serpents and the Raksasas and all other creatures got destroyed, the two terrific demons appeared in the oceanic waters, who were known by the names of Madhu and Kaitabha, who were desirous of war. The all powerful lord Visnu, killed both of them, bestowing the boon of achieving moksa by them.

In earlier times, when lord Visnu was sleeping in the oceanic waters, a lotus emerged out of his navel, out of which emerged all the fJsis and the gods.

The Puranas call the event as the Pauskara incarnation of Visnu or the sarga. Purana is the type of knowlege, in which the mantras, the Brahmana part of the Srutis and all the vedas are established.(In other words the Puranas are the commentaries on the Vedas).

The Varaha incarnation of Visnu, has been mentioned in the Srutis. At the time of that incarnation, lord Visnu, the foremost of the gods, taking to the form of Varaha, had rescued the entire earth with her mountains and trees.

The four Vedas are his four feet and the YUpa-stambhas are his teeth, the funerd pye is his mouth. His tongue is the fire flame, kusa represents the hair and Brahman is the head. He has the enormous tapas to his credit.

Both days and nights are his two eyes and has divine form Vedas represent his limbs, while the Srutis are his ornaments. Havisya (ghee) represents his nose, Sruva - the nostrils and his voice represents the reciting of Samaveda. He is indeed quite great.

Dharma and satya (truth) are his forms. He is glorious and is graceful with his speed and powers. Repentance represent his nails and animals represent his knees. He is quite valorous having vast arms.

Udgata, homa, linga and the osadhis represent his testicles and semen. Wind is his inner soul, mantras are his buttocks, while soma juice is his blood.

The Yajna — kunda happens to be his shoulder, havisya is the fragrance, havya and kavya represent his speed. The performer’s home, represents his body. He is quite resplendant and has to his credit several diksas.

Daksina happens to be his heart. The Yajna of long duration is the image of the great Yogi. The study of the Vedas represent his ornaments. The practice of pravargya is also his ornaments.

The recitation of several types of meters is his path, and he is seated over the asana (seat) of the secret upanisads. The reflection in the water was his helper like the spouse. He appeared as high as the Meru mountain.

Lord Varata — with a thousand heads, who is the primary cause of the gods, entered the waters of the ocean, lifted up the whole of the earth with all the mountains and the forests over the tip of his tusk for the welfare of all the lokas, established her again over the surface of the water.

Thus appearing on earth, lord Vardha, the soul of Yajna for the benefit of all the living beings rescued the earth in earlier times.

I have thus narrated the story of Vardha incamartion of Visnu. The next incarnation was that of Narasimha and you listen to the relevant story. In this incarnation, lord Visnu, taking to the form of Narasimha, killed a Daitya known as Hiranyakasipu.

О king, in earlier times during Satyyuga, Hiranyakasipu — the enemy of the gods, was the lord of Daityas. He was quite proud of his srength. He performed severe tapas for eleven and a half thousand years. He always engaged himself in japam and fasting. He seated firmly over the seat, observing silence and performed the best of Vrata.

О sinless king, thereafter he observed controlling of sense organs and mind, celebacy, performed tapas observing all the relevant rules. As a result of this lord Brahma was pleased with him.

О king, lord Brahma — the self born, mounted over the swan, like plane having the lustre of the sun, arrieved before the Daitya king.

He was accompanied by Aditya, Vasu, Sadhyas, gods, Rudras, Visvedevas, Yaksas, Raksasas, Kinnaras, the directions, rivers, oceans, constellations, muhuratas, the planets of the sky, the divine sages well versed in the perfoming of tapas, siddhas, Saptarsis, Rajarsis — the noble souls, Gandharvas as well the apsaras.

Then Brahma — the preceptor, the foremost of all well-versed in knowledge of Brahman, surrounded by the gods, spoke to the Daitya.

“О Daitya king, perfomer of the excellent vrata, you are devoted to me. I am extremely pleased with your austerities. Let you meet with welfare. You ask for a boon and enjoy the reward for the same.”

Hiranayakasipu said — О grand sire of the world, I should be invicible by the gods, asuras, Gandharvas, Yaksas, Nagas, Raksas, humans and Pisacas. The performers of the tapas like Rishis and Maharsis should not be able to pronounce a curse on me in anger. This is the boon I seek from you.

I should be invincible from weapons, mountains or trees, neither from dry or from the wet elements, or any other weapons.

I should meet with death from one of my soldiers, who could kill me with a single slap. I should meet with such a type of death.

I should remain present in the form of the sun, the moon, the wind, the fire, water, the sky, the constellations and all the ten directions.

I should be the presiding daily of the desire and anger. I should be the lord of Varuna, Indra, Yama, Kubera — the lord of riches, Yaksas and Kimpurusas.”

О best of the kings, at these words of the Daitya, the self born lord Brahma laughed aloud and then spoke to the Daitya king.

Brahma said: “O excellent one, I grant you the divine and astonishing boon. You will achieve all the desires as per your demand. There is no doubt about it.

Thus speaking Brahma., accompanied Brahmarsis and others staying in the sky retired to Brahmadhama known by the name of Vairajapada.

Thereafter all the gods, serpents, Gandharvas and sages, listening to the boon so granted to the Daityas king, went to Brahma.

Reaching there Indra and other gods, expressed to Brahma, their mental fear thus.

The gods said: О lord, with the influence of this boon the Daitya shall always torture us severely in future. Therefore, you be pleased with us and think of the means for the destruction of the Daitya king, because you are the creator of all the living beings, are self born, omniscont, creator havya and kavya, invisible prakrti and form of Dhruva.

Then listening the words which were beneficial for the world Prajapati Brahma, spoke to all the gods thus.

Brahma said: О gods, the demon would surely achieve the reward of his tapas. When his merits would come to an end, then he would be killed by lord Visnu himself.”

On hearing the words of Brahma, born out of lotus, all the gods delightfully retired to their respective abodes.

On receiving the boon, the Daitya king on the other hand, started tercorising the entire populace, because the boon of Brahma had made him extremely arrogant.

Initially, he started causing pain to the truthful and virtuous sages living in the hirmitages controlling all the sense organs.

He defeated all the gods in the three lokas, he usurped the control of all the three worlds. Then he started living in the heaven.

Getting intoxicated with the boon, while living in the heaven, he allotted the share of the Yajnas to the Daityas, depriving the Rishis of their share.

Then all the gods including Aditya, Rudra, Visvadeva and Marudganas, collectively went to lord Visnu the form of Yajnas and vedas, the presiding diety of Brahma and who is the eternal form of Brahman and took refuge with him. Lord Visnu is the form of past, present and future, who is all powerful, is revered by all the universe, therefore all the gods and the Rishis took refuge with him.

The gods said - О lord of the gods, you kindly protect us from the danger of Hiranyakasipu. О best of the gods, you happen to be the presever the gods like Brahma, and others.

You happen to be supreme lord besides being the protector, your eyes resemble the blossoming lotus flowers, you can frighten the enemy forces. О lord, you be our refuge against the Daityas and destroy them.

Lord Visnu said — О gods, you get free from terror. I bestow protection to you.You will regain your position in the heaven as before.

The Daitya who had been filled with pride because of the boon achieved by him, becoming invincible from the gods, the same Hiranyakasipu, the king of Danavas and son of Diti, will be killed by me with his forces.

Vaishampayana said: О king, thus speaking, lord Visnu sent back the gods and he himself appeared in the assembly chamber of Hiranyakasipu.

At that point of time lord Visnu had turned himself in the composite form of half human and half lion. Thus taking to the form of Narasimha, rubbing one hand with the other, appeared before the Daitya king.

His body was of the black complexion of the watery clouds. He produced sound like the thunder of the clouds filled with rain water. His lustre and force too resembled the clouds about to shower rain.

Though the Daitya Hiranyakasipu, was extremely strong, illustrious and arrogant like the lion and was protected by the Daitya warriors filled with pride, still the lord Narasimha, sent him to the abode of Yama, administring a single slap on his face.

Thus the episode of Narasimha, has been narrated by me. Now you listen to the incarnation of Vamana in which lord Visnu taking to the form of a Vamana, destroyed the Daityas.

In earlier times, lord Visnu, taking to the form of Vamana, reached the Yajnas of Bali and reaching there, he with the moving of only there steps, measured all the lokas disturbed the great asuras who could never be disturbed by anyone in the world.

At the time when lord Hrsikesa was moving ahead his steps, at that time, Vipracitti, Stbi, Sankusira and Sankusira and Sankusira the valorous Hayagrlva, Vegavan, Ketuman, Ugra, the great demon Somavya, Puskara and Puskala, Vepana — the great warriors, Brhatklrti, Mahajihva, Asvapati with his horses, Prahlada, Asvasira, Kumbha, Samhrada, Gaganaprija, Anuhrada, Hari and Нага, Varaha, Sankara, Ruja, Sarabha and Salabha, Kupana, Kopana, Kratha, Brhatklrti, Mahajivha, Sankukarna, Mahasvana, Dirghajihva, Arkanayana, Mrducapa, Mrdupriya, Vayu, Yavistha, Namuci, Sambara, Mahakaya, Vijvara, Candrahanta, Krodhahanta and Krodhavardhana, Kalaka and Kalakuya, Vrtra, Krodha, Virocana, Garistha and Varistha, Pralamba and Naraka, Indratapana, Vatapi, Ketuman proud of his strength, Asiloma, Puloma, Vakkala, Pramada, Mada, Khasrma, Kalavadana, Karala, Kaisika, Sara, Ekaksa, Candrahada, Rahu, Samhrada, Srmara, Khana and other Daityas surrounded the lord from all the sides.

Some of them were holding Satagni (fire arm) some of them carried cakras, several of them carried parighas, some of the Danavas attacked with huge rocks. Many of them carried the spears. Many of them were equipped with the instruments with which the stone balls could be thrown. Many of them used weapons called Bhendipalas. Many of the Daityas carried in their hands spears, morters, axes, norses, clubs, besides the mUsalas. In this way they carried several types of weapons. They were also clad in several types of costumes. All of them were quite forceful, besides being terrific. The forces of some of them resembled those of tortoises, some of them resembled the cocks, some resembled rabbits or owls. The heads of many of the demons resembled those of asses, camels, pigs, crocodiles and jackals. All of them looked quite terrific. The faces of some of the terrific demons resembled those of the rats and frogs. The faces of some of them resembled the wolves. Some of them resembled the foaes of cats, while others resembled those of elephant heads. Some of them had the heads bigger than elephants even. Some of them had the faces of crocodiles, sheep, bulls, goats, rams, buffalows, lizards, porcupines, ospray, Garuda and the peacocks. Some of the Daityas had been clad in elephant hides, while others had used the skins of black bucks as costumes. Bodies of some of them had been covered with the antelope skin, while some of them were wearing the bark garments. The heads of some of them were covered with turbans, while others were adored with crowns. Many of the demons were decorated with kiritas and kundalas. Many of them had long tufts over the heads. The necks of many demons resembled the conches. The immensely illustrious Daityas were wearing several types of costumes and were decorated with many garlands around their necks, besides using the sandal pasts for decoration. They were resplendent with lustre and standing holding their respective weapons.

The omnipotent lord Visnu, with a the terrific form, churned all the Daityas with the striking of kicks and slaps and snatched away the control of entire earth from them.

It is said, that at the time, when the earth was being measured by him, taking to the Virat (gigentic) form, the sun and the moon reached his breast. When he started meauring the sky, then the sun and the moon reached his navel.

When the immensely strong lord Visnu was measuring the region above the heaven, the sun and the moon at that time appeared at his knee level. This is what is spoken by the Brahmanas.

Thus lord Visnu who is the foremost of the people of strength, usurped the entire earth, defeating the prominent asuras and gave away the kingship of the heaven to Indra.

О Janamejaya, I have narrated to you the story of the Vamana incarnation of Visnu. The Brahamanas, well-versed in the Vedas, recite the glory of lord Visnu accordingly.

Thereafter the supreme soul Visnu again incarnated on earth and was known as Dattatreya, who was of forgiving nature.

At that point of time, the Vedas had disappeared. The Vedic practices and the Yajfias were no more in use. All the Varnas had been mixed up. The dharma had declined. Adharma (evil) was on increase with great force. The truth was vanishing. The falsehood was being practiced everywhere. The populace was on the decline. The dharma had been mixed with false practices.

At that point of time, Dattatreya redeemed the Vedas besides the Vedic practices and established all the four Varnas separately.

The learned and bestower of boons — lord Dattatreya, had given a boon to the king Kartavirya of Haihaya race.

“О sinless king your two arms, because of my boon would increase to a thousand at the time of war.

О lord of earth, you will rule the entire earth. The crowds of enemies would be able to look at you with great difficulty and you will be well-versed in the dharma.

О great king — subjugator of the enemies, I have narrated the story of this incarnation of Visnu as had been heard by me.

Thereafter, Srthari — the supreme soul, incarnated on earth in the form of Parasurama — the son of Jamadagni. During the said incarnation lord Parasurama, killed the said king Arjuna, in the battle field, who had become quite arrogant, because of his possessing a thousand arms and was invincible from the enemies in the battle field.

The king Arjuna was seated over the chariot, but Parasurama, the son of Bhrgu, threw him over the grand and climbing over his chest at will, he cut off his arms (a thousand) with his battle-axe. Though he was accompanied with his relatives, still he had to face this fate. At that point of time Kartvlrya, continued to cry like the thundring of the clouds.

He spread the dead bodies of the Ksatriyas over the earth adorned with Meru and Manderacala mountains, twenty one times, depriving it of all the Ksatriyas.

Depriving the earth of all the Ksatriyas, Parasurama — the great ascetic and son of Bhrgu, inorder to relieve himself of all the sins, arranged for the performing of the Asvemedha sacrifice.

Huge charities are given in this Yajha. At the conclusion of the Asvamedha sacrifice, Parasurama — the son of Bhrgu, gave away in charity, the entire earth to Kasyapa, the son of Marici.

Parasurama — the great warrior, was immensely glorious and the learned one - gave away in charity in the great Yajha, the steed moving with great speed, which he received from Varuna, besides the chariots, huge quantity of gold, cows and the best of elephants.

Even today, the wise Parasurama — the son of Jamadagni and belonging to the race of Bhrgu, living over the excellent Mahendra mountain, remains there, performing tapas for the welfare of the gods.

О Janamejaya, lord Visnu supreme soul and his incarnation as Parasurama has been described.

During the twenty fourth Tretayuga, lord Visnu was born as the son of Dasaratha known as the lotus eyed Rama. For sometime he was the follower of Visvamitra as well.

At that point of time, the omnipotent, longarmed, lord, divided himself into four forms, but he himself was known as Rama, who was illustrious like the sun.

At that point of time, Shri Rama had incarnated in order to delight all the people, killing of the demons and for the protection of dharma.

The learned people consider Rama to be the lord of all the bhutas and the incarnation of lord Visnu, whom, the sage Visvamitra, had given the divine weapons, in order to distroy the asuras who were enemies of the country and could not be contained even by the gods.

Shri Rama, the great soul, made Marica and Subahu — the demons, the aim of his arrows, in order to stop them from creating obstractors in the Yajha of the clean hearted ascetics. As a result of this the desire of the demons could not be fulfilled.

In earlier times, when the Yajna was being performed by the king Janaka, then Shri Rama, like a sport, broke the bow of lord Mahadeva without much effort.

Rama was well aware of all the dharma and he engaged himself always for the welfare of all the living beings. He in company of laksmana, lived in the forest for a period of fourteen years.

At that point of time the image of Laksmi. (sita) was also with him. She was popularly known as Sita. She was the wife of Rama, who followed him in the forest.

Performing tapas in the forest for fourteen years, living in the Dandka forest for fourteen years Shri Rama, performed the desired task of the gods.

Then Shri Rama, finding out the whereabout of Sita (who had been kidnapped by Ravana),proceeded with Laksmana killed the terrific demons Viradha and Kabandha. Both of them were the Gandharvas in earlier birth, but were turned as demons, because of the curse.

Rama attacked on the Rdksasas with such arrows, which resembled the fire, sun, moon, lightning and the clouds. Their astonishing types of wings resembled the molten gold called Jambunada and were powerful like the Vajra of Indra and the lightening — using such arrows, he cut off the heads of both the demons from their bodies, with great force.

For the welfare of his friend Sugriva, Rama, killed the valorous and great warrior Bali in the battle field and Sugriva was crowned as the king in has place.

During that time, Ravana, the kings of the demons, had become invincible from the gods, Asuras,, Yaksas, Gandharvas and the serpents. He used to fighting getting intoxicated. He had the army of crores of demons. His body was black like the heap of black collyrium. The terrible Ravana, who made the three worlds to cry, was terrific and invincible. He was powerful like lion. He was exceedingly arrogant. He was further filled with pride because of the boons he got from Brahma. The gods were unable even to look at him, His body was black like the clouds. Shri Rama, killed the terrific Ravana in the battle ground, with his army and the ministers.

Ravana the grand son of Pulastya, was a horrible criminal. His each and every decision had the shadow of cruelty in it. It was difficult to conquer him in the battle field. Still Shri Rama the lord of all the bhUtas, killed him with his brother, son ministers and armies, in the past in no time.

At the sametime a demon named Lavana the son of Madhu, lived in Mathura. The great asura was a great warrior and by getting boons he had become more arrogant. He was also killed at the hands of Satrughna-who was the form of Rama. Rama with his brothers who were well versed in warfare, killed many demons in the battle field.

Performing all the valorous activities Shri Rama who had been the foremost of the virtuous people, performed ten Asvamedha sacrifices giving three time more the daksina, which were completed without any obstruction.

While ruling the country by Shri Rama, no in auspicious talks were heard. The wind did not blow with force. No one could usurp others belongings.

During the rule of Rama the pathetic cries of the widows were never heard. The unfortunate incidents never happened, anywhere. All the people of the world were well disciplined and humble.

During the rule of Rama, the people were never afraid of fire or water. Besides the old and the young had not to perform the obsequail rites.

The Ksatriyas served the Brahmanas, the Vaisyas had faith in the Ksatriyas, while Sidras devoid of arrogance used to serve the Brahmanas and other people of the three Varnas. The ladies in the rule of Rama, were never attracted towards other men in preference to their husbands while the men never looked with an evil eye towards the other woman.

Vaishampayana said: О Janamejaya, the entire world was excercising full control over the sense organs. The decoits were nowhere to be seen on earth. Rama alone was the protector and the lord.

During the rule of Rama, the humans had lives for thousands of years. They were the fathers of thousands of sons. No living being suffered from any ailment.

During the rule of Rama, the gods, humans and the Rishis often congregated on earth.

Having a firm belief that Srf Rama was the supreme tattva, the people well — versed in the Puranas, use to sing the following stories, which highlighted the enormous glory of Shri Rama.

Shri Rama had the dark complexion, who always appeared young. His eyes were some what of red colour, the face bore the lustre, he spoke little. His long arms reached upto the knees. He had a beautiful face. His shoulders resembled those of the lions, The valorous Rama being the lord of Ayodhya, ruled there for eleven thousand years.

During his rule, the Vedas like Rg, Yajuh and Sama were recited everywhere. With the stretching of the bow’s cord, its thundering sound was always heard. The people were always advised to perform charities and serve food to others.

Shri Rama, the son of Dasaratha, inspite of his being vigorous and virtuous, was always resplendent with his own lustre. He was more graceful than the sun and the moon.

Shri Rama had performed hundreds of excellent sacrifies in which enormous daksinas were given. Ultimately, he, together with a large crowd of Ayodhya, leaving his kingdom, proceeded to Saketa Dhama.

Thus Shri Rama, who increased the delight of the Iksavaku dynasty, together with his associates, killing Ravana, proceeded on to the heaven.

Vaishampayana spoke — О Janamejaya, thereafter, Shri Krishna also known as kesava incarnated in Mathura mandala, which is well known. This incarnation of the lord, was for the benefit of the world.

The valorous Hari during this incarnation, he destroyed the Daityas in human form of the races like Salva, Dviveda, Kamsa, Aristha, Rsabha, Kesi, PUtana the daughter of Daityas, Kuvalyapidha, elephant, Сапйга and Mustika and other Daityas in human form.

Besides these, he also cut off the thousand hands of Banasura, the performer of astonishing deeds. He also killed Narakasura in war and also got the valorous Kalayavana reduced to ashes.

Not only this, he with his lustre snatched away all the demons and gems of the rulers of the earth, killing the wicked kings at the same time.

(Upto this stage, only seven incarnations have been described by adding Matsya and kiirma incarnations, the number goes upto nine.) During the twenty-eight Dvapara, lord Krishna incarnated on earth. A little earlier than this, his tenth incarnation also appeared on earth and was known as Vedavyasa.

Vyasa — the son of Satyavatl, distributed the Vedas in four parts. Besides he further continued the faded out tradition of the end of Bharata.

О king, for the benefit of the people the ten incarnations of lord Visnu have already appeared, which have been described already. I shall now speak on the future incarnations of lord Visnu.

(In the future incarnations, Buddha will appear first. Thereafter Kalki incarnation will appear which shall also be known as Visnuyasa. Lord Visnu, shall appear in a village named Sambhala, for the benefit of the people, as a Brahamana.

After the expiry of the time of the aforesaid tenth incarnation, accompanied with the Yajnavalkya Rishi would re-establish dharma destroying the wicked people with his powers. By the moves of the destiny, lord Kalki, destroying the people following the evil path, shall establish his followers in the regions between the Ganga and Yamuna. Thereafter he shall stop his activity.

Thereafter on the destruction of the royal race with the warriors and ministers, the entire people would become out of control.

At the end of the royal security, the people would fight among themselves getting destroyed. They shall plunder the riches of others and the weak people shall become helpless.

At that point of time the evening time of kaliyuga would be passing. During that period the entire populace placed in pitiable condition would perish. This is what has been stated.

At the end of Kaliyuga, Satyayuga would rise in a natural process and not otherwise.

О king, lord Visnu incarnated in several other ways, which displayed his divine virtues. The Rishis well-versed in Brahman have described them variously.

With the narration of the incarnations of lord Visnu, even the gods get confused. For this purpose, the Puranas are considered to be authentic, which are supported by the vedic Srutis.

Lord Visnu is the preceptor of all and is adorable of all. His incarnations have been mentioned in brief.

With the reciting of the incarnations of powerful lord Visnu, again and again, the manes get pleased. The one who listens to the stories of the incarnations of lord Visnu, with devotion, with folded hands, his manes achieve extreme satisfaction.

A person, who listens to the sports of lord Visnu appearing through his Yogamaya, he is relieved of all the sins and by the grace of the lord he achieves all the success, upliftment and enormous pleasures.

Here ends Chapter 41, of Harivansa Parva of Harivansa Purana a khilabhaga of Mahabharata relating to the incarnations of Visnu. (Vrs. 1-174, P.T.= 2290)
